Wednesday 09 Oct
« on: October 09, 2019, 04:22:34 AM »
Good morning from the sunny UK. Our second home has a very interesting marina/harbour. In the olden days it was used to transport iron ore across the Bristol Channel to Wales. The tide here is the second biggest in the world with the water retreating over a mile at low tide. Here are two contrasting pictures of the harbour - first with water and next with mud. The land in the background is the coast of Wales.
Have a great day.

Morning, all.

Nice pictures, Mike.  Reminds me of our recent trip to Cape Cod with the tides.  I'm off today, hope to get some train time.

Good morning.  Late checking in today.

Mike and Jeff, thanks for the photos, always nice to start the day with some pics.

Nothing new here, still more temporary electric fence planned for today.

Good morning! I'm getting some chores done at my cabin (S&S RR Northern Hqtrs.) and then I'm heading back to work on the layout.  Another nice day  here starting out at 35 degrees but it will be in the 70's this afternoon. I hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all,

Wow!  That's quite a difference the tide makes.

Spent time putting down concrete roads on the diorama last night.  I won't have a chance to work on it tonight though.  Next up will be adding more dirt, weeds, etc. to it.

Have a great one!

Morning.
Rain today after a couple nice days.  Last lawn mowing of the year done over the weekend, I hope.
Still packaging kits together for customers.  Then I need to get to work on the new design of an old kit.
Another cup of coffee to finish out the morning now.

Back from the doctor, with very good news on my A1C.

Today's project will be to prime the window/door castings for the mill warehouse.
