Good morning.

I'm sure each of us remembers exactly where we were and what we were doing when we heard the news.

I'm back in the house getting coffee, I manage to get back inside just as it started raining.  Looks like a good morning to run some errands and pick up a few groceries.

Morning all,

In the days after I recall stepping out my front door and thinking how eerily silent it seemed.  There was zero air traffic, aside from an occasional military jet, and it felt like the world had stopped.

Have a great one!

Morning. I remember the older generation talking about where they were when President Kennedy was shot, I remember where and what I was doing on this day.

Hey, Dan, careful with that 'older generation' stuff LOL

The day JFK was shot, the day Oswald was killed, the moon landing, Sept. 11th, all days that I still have clear memories of.

Be safe, all.

Jim

Hey All:

I will never forget this day as long as I live. I was working the window at the Maple Glen Pa Post Office and had my TV on the counter on behind me. They showed that and I just could not believe what I was seeing. I've been to the Museum in New York and in Pennsylvania. Jim F Also remember all the days you mentioned.

Good morning.  I will never forget.  I was too young to remember JFK but all the rest I remember well.  I hope everyone has a great day.

This is also the anniversary of 4 Americans who were left to die in Benghazi.
Don't forget them.

I was supposed to fly to Toronto that afternoon.  The people already at the conference had lots of stories about getting home.

The year before, I worked inside the Pentagon.  All my co-workers made it out OK, but they had varying degrees of PTSD.  One of them posted an in-depth narrative of the strike and its impact; in my mind I can walk some of those halls with his description.

Right now I'm in a bit of a rut for modeling.  Other stuff going on has me distracted, and I haven't built up the "head of steam" to head back into the basement.

Afternoon,

I was sitting with my feet high on my desk taking to my government client congratulating ourselves on getting a project done and how he was going to get another contract for us. I was rudely interrupted my a call from my wife, she never calls me at work, to tell me about crashes.

All work stopped, the offices went in shutdown and everybody was evacuated. Other tall structures were put on alert and the city stood still waiting for the world to end.

Strange as it may sound only the real employees (full time) got to go home, the contractors held down the fort. It was weeks before things settled down and fear of attacks subsided.

Yup I remember it!

Btw: for JFK shooting, I was in the living room trying to turn on a light. And for the moon I was in Huntsville, Ontario sitting on the top bunk lustening to the broadcast from an old radio.
