Howdy, Mark and others to follow.
The best part of "vacation" is being up early in the morning while the house is quiet. Another enjoyable past time makes me think of Jaime. One of the best donut shops in  town is across the street at the end of the block I sit on the front porch and watch the big white boxes depart for addresses unknown. What's really amusing is the number of donut boxes being carried by folks in athletic gear! Does not compute.
Time for coffee #2.
Make it happen today, folks.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Morning all,

Just another day in the cube farm.   :(  Maybe I'll get some workbench time in this evening.  ;)

Have a great one!

Bob:  I've been enjoying your daily postings.  Were the photos shot around Enola?

Two weeks from today means August begins.  Leaves eight months until retirement on that day.

Good morning.  Heavy rain and localized flooding here yesterday.  Too wet for field work so I'll head out to see my friend Jim (whiskeyriver) this morning.

Good morning.  I'm on Grandpa duty, today. My Grandson wants to build a yard for his Thomas the tank layout. ;)  We are back in the rainy season in this part of the country. Barry brought all that moist hot air from the gulf with him.  I hope everyone has a great day.

Thanks.  Yes they were.  On the Rockville end of the Enola yard.  There's a road that crosses over the tracks and it's a perfect spot for watching trains.  Even if I didn't catch a train entering or leaving the yard there was always activity as crews were spotting trains in the yard.  Best part was it took about five minutes to get there from my brothers house.   :)

Still hanging around.  I'm on the down hill side of a Walthers 90' turntable build.  Thought it would be a good break from other projects.  NOT.  Pit was not perfectly round, the railings themselves were decent enough, but not enough gluing surface to be of any use.  So I made some up out of brass wire.  I found that my soldering skills on small joints needed some practice.  The last 5 of 100 joints were perfect.

A late Good Morning, had to do some actual paid work earlier, for the NC Trams. Museum.

Some desk time, a bit later.

Be safe, all.
