Morning all,

Thanks for all the well wishes, I got a Z pack from the Dr. yesterday and feel somewhat better. I've never had a July sore throat and it sucks. I'll spend most of today in bed and sleep as much as possible.

Have a great day ya'll.

Tom ;D

Good morning.  I'm feeling tired from hustling yesterday to get everything done before we were hit with thunderstorms yesterday afternoon.  More rain in today's forecast, so taking it a bit easier with some machinery repairs and maintenance on the schedule.  I might even reward myself with a little modeling time.

Tom, glad you are starting to feel a little better, rest is always the best medicine.

Morning all,

Just another hump day in the cube.   :(

Glad to hear you got some med's and are on the mend Tom.

Y'all have to be getting sick of my N&S pictures by now.   ;D  I'm almost out of them.   ;)

Have a great one!

Wife got strep throat last month, and was pretty miserable for a couple of days until the antibiotics kicked in.  She was also upset because she couldn't talk, which made it pretty hard for her Spanish classes.

I did a little bit of scenery work yesterday, I need to buckle down and get the remaining rough scenery in place.  Also, I got the stone mill foundation painted.

Nasty summer virus hitting up here...lingers weeks. Starts with sore throat/achy joints. MD says best thing is nasal rinse and bed rest. Take care!

Morning,

Another miserable hot humid day. (Full moon time) I will have to stick it out in the basement doing my thing.

I wonder what that clicking sound in my knees is? ???

Didn't want to write too much in case the database gremlins got me...sure enough, they did. Moved downstairs to the PC.

Yesterday's 1-1 clinic went well. He stayed seven hours and would like to come back. Too bad he models in S scale.

Pushing 100 degrees the next several days. Taking a poll...where should I spend it?  Hobby on!

Morning, all.

Off today to break up the work stretch (I told the boss I can't work four days in a row anymore).  Probably need to mow, though it's going to be in the 90s today.  Glad it's a riding mower.   :) Glad to hear Tom's feeling a bit better.

Good morning!  It appears that hurricane Barry is here.  We have been having thunderstorm after thunderstorm for two days now. He brought some very hot air with him.  I guess I will have to work on my trains. ;) ;D  I hope Tom and Dave feel better. Have a great day.

Big time heat wave underway in SE PA.  Will run for about a week. At least the grass doesn't grow, but the weeds and crabgrass do.  Certainly glad I replaced the AC system the other summer for more efficient equipment. Now if I had solar panels, it would be even better for the pocketbook.

Sorry to read some are really under the weather.  But glad those so afflicted are getting medical treatment.
