Good morning Dan and all of the sleep-ins.  Going to hit the local flea market this morning, then some train stuff this afternoon.  Enjoy the day!

Happy Bastille Day! Celebrate with red, white and blue donuts this morning.
Still getting sand on body parts "down shore", and actually itching to get home.
Check the Tichy website today if your need scratchbuild parts. There's a 20-40% off sale that ends tonight.
That's my contribution for today, guys.

Good morning, more gardening and then complaining about sore muscles, then no sympathy from anyone.

Good morning! I'm going to spend most of the day working on the layout. I need to mow the grass but I shouldn't bother the neighbors on Sunday. Sorry, I'm practicing for when the CFO asks me when I'm going to mow the grass.  ;) ;D ;D ;D  I hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all,

I'm working on the layout today as long as I can. I've been fighting a slight sore throat since Thursday evening.

Ya'll have a great day.

Tom  ;D

Morning, all.

Did some layout work yesterday.  Started replacing more of the velcro attached tortoises after having the one fail in June.  Also added plywood to the base of an area wher a town and some structures will eventually go.  Still painting the flatcar as well.  Probably will mow later, though we haven't had any rain for over a week and the growth has slowed, but I work 5 of the next 7 days so I'll at least level it off.

Morning everyone

Weather in South Jersey sunny/89!

One of the granddaughters showed up last night with her boy friend.  So it looks to be a beach day!!

Maybe some train tonight if my room cools down a bit!

Everyone have a great day!! :)

Morning all,

Great picture Tom!  Hope the throat doesn't bother you too much and gets better soon.

Should be able to start working on the second floor porch for Avram's today the front and side porches are almost wrapped up.  A lot of board by board construction but it looks nice when it starts coming together.

Have a great one!

Started coloring the foundation castings (NE Brownstone).  I wanted a color that contrasted with both the stone mill walls (stone mill is just sitting there for the color test, that's where the brick mill normally goes) and with the stone RR bridge in the foreground.

The other foundation is on the workbench, I added another piece and it needs to dry overnight before I can paint it to match.

This is my usual sponge painting various craft paint colors on top of the mortar color primer.
