re-read the Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, excellent mystery/fantasy book about whether or not Vlad the Impaler was really the vampire Dracula,,, 3 time periods, running around Eastern Europe, really cool.

I just got in the mail "Model Railroading as Art" by Lance Mindheim. After listening to him recently on two podcasts, I felt I needed an art education to help my modeling.  Very cool book.
