RailroadKits Firehouse
«

Hello everyone.
I just finished RailroadKits Firehouse. Pretty straightforward hydrocal kit. I ran into a few issues mainly the bell tower got broken off and I had to fabricate my own. I used pinking shears to make the roof shingles.
Thanks for checking in.

Steve, WOW! Looks super!
That's the firehouse I want for my diorama, hopefully I'll find one available when the time, and money, comes.
Hope I can do as nice a job as you.

Thanks Jim!
I purchased this and the drug store at the Scranton expo. I understand Jimmy is no longer making the hydrocal kits but Foscale owns them now? If that's the case maybe this one will become available again soon. I've only built the 2 kits but the detail in the castings were excellent. The cleanest hydrocal castings I've run into.

Nicely done Steve. I have the kit in the closet, and you have inspired me to get it out for a build. ~mike c

Steve,
Very well done, love the walls. I bought the Firehouse at Scranton as well. I've built or at least started the Drug Store kit way back in 2010. The Firehouse is one the list to build for my small town.
I put stained glass in the upper windows of the Drug Store front. I need to finish the interior on this one.

Nicely done! I have a stash of Fulasz kits that I need to dig out, once I'm ready to start the city scene.

beautiful work Steve! Been looking at this firehouse on Ed's site for a while now. Just beautiful and realistically fits most cities without looking junky. Hopefully Doug brings this one back.

Hey Steve:
Beautiful job on that one. I think I have one of those to build for my friend.
