Morning Tom and whoever else shows up.

Woke up early and can't go back to sleep.  Too many 1:1 things going on.

Good morning! I spent the afternoon doing yard, in the sun, yesterday! I'm moving a little slow this morning. ::)  I'm working on the layout this morning then more chores.  I hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning all - does anyone one know the status of North West Shortline? I thought I read some where that they were closing down. Thanks- hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all,

Think we'll head over to the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum and Strasburg Railroad this morning.   :D

Have a great one!

Good Morning All,

Not sure what's on the agenda today besides more rain.

I wish I was there also Bob. It's a amazing museum.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Yesterday's accomplishment was ordering 'cut stone' sheets from The N Scale Architect (HO sheets...) and windows from Tichy, for the next scratchbuilt mill building.  I decided the ITLA flat wouldn't work.  The new building will be siimilar to the current one, only 3 stories (rather than 4), and of course stone rather than brick.

Good morning folks;

It was a beautiful day here yesterday, looking good this morning too. Spent time yesterday learning how to better use glass for windows, still working on it but getting there. Pizza night with kids and grandkids.

Have a great day!

Doug...

It appears that they are in fact closed down ....... to a point.......

Depending where you look on the internet.......... they might still be taking orders on existing stock.

I have not talked to Dave Rygmyr in some time.  His wife was the front end order person and the rumor mill has it that she is gravely ill...........  no secondary followup on that...............

To read the various stuff out there ........ they may fill an electronic order but it is not clear.

So for the moment....... I think they are shut down.     A great loss as I get a LOT of stuff from them..

see ya

Thanks for the info Bob - I do a lot of re-motoring and gearbox overhauls on older brass locomotives in order to convert them to DCC/sound.  I guess a lot of these older pieces are going to become "shelf queens". Sad because a lot of the earlier PFM and Westside stuff make nice runners with some simple upgrades.
