Late joing again today.  Looks like some more rain today.  Overcast, but still warm and humid.  Never really cooled last night.  Great for the tomatoes though.

Some progress last night on the layout.  Removed an add-on section then got lumber together for an addition going elsewhere.  Hope to saw those boards today between the rainfall.

Marty:  Hope your comment is tongue-in-cheek.  My truck bed is but 6'2" so not unusual for me to open the back window to accommodate 8' and 10' lengths.

Off to skim the pool.  Actually got in it last night for the first time this season. Really helps my knees.  Then breakfast.

Have a good, safe, healthy day all.  You FLA boys keep your distances.  Don't need this virus spreading in central FLA such that someone brings it to my Mom.

There's a lot good stuff in the site.  A nucleus of modelers from the S Jersey area doing ops circuits and a couple really outstanding modelers, but those fellows have tapered down their contributions.

I wonder what they're all having for breakfast these days?  That's a big thing there.  I got chastised for opening when I was working and not having "coffee brewing."

Morning all.

Slept in today as it took a while to get to sleep.  No need to go around like a zombie now.

A bit less hot today, still humid, overcast and some rain expected in SE PA.  Got buckets of rain yesterday.  At one point, water came in but quickly removed. Pool water level needed to be raised and that came about.

Well, now the grass/weeds will restart growing.

Stay safe, smart, and keep your distance and masks handy.

Morning all.

Like John commented, I managed to sleep in a bit.

Hot and humid again in SE PA. But that's how it's supposed to be in early July.

My instincts were about going back to work after a long weekend, but I was able to convince myself those thoughts are incorrect.  Now I'm heading up to make breakfast and skim the pool.

Stay safe, cool, smart and maintain distance.

Your Honor:  Lignite does not come from PA.  A lot from Texas and the Dakotas-Montana.

Larry from PA.

Up early this AM, skimmed the pool, went to mass, then once home, cooked fried 'taters and bacon for breakfast.  #2 son and gal coming by shortly.  Then I'll do the flapjacks.

Hot and humid.  It's OK though.  In Jan and Feb, when I'm clearing snow off the driveway, I think of days like this.  On days like this, the last thing I think about is clearning snow from the driveway.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA!

All we see and hear are about its' faults, but most of the world would trade places with us in a heartbeat.  Contrast that to Hong Kong's struggle right now and figure what you would take.

Another hot one in store in SE PA.  Company coming for dinner so that will drive activities through the day.

Stay cool, safe and be smart.

Morning all.

Slept in for a change.  Felt good.  Pool skimmed.  No frogs today. How'd that happen? Wish it was practical to get one of those screened enclosures you FLA folks have for your pools.

Company coming tomorrow, so prepping today.  Only one couple, so distancing is practical.

Hot and humid today in SE PA.  Windows will be closed shortly.

Be smart, stay safe.

It was a  cool, much less humid night.  Got into the mid 60's in SE PA.  Windows open to let in the fresh air.  Glorious!

Another this and that day.

Foor the working men and women, enjoy the long weekend coming your way as best you can given how we need to protects ourselves and family.

Morning all!

Cooled down during the night.  Quickly opened windows, shut off AC while temps still in the 60's.  Hot later in SE PA.

Bob:  How many will be on duty Thursday since the company is off Wednesday and Friday?

Stay safe and cool.  I'm off to skim the pool.

Hey all.  Happy Monday for those who still toil.

Cooler this morning, seems less humid.  Much needed rain fell last night in my piece of SE PA.

Frogs are now about and have rediscoverd my pool.  Played my morning chase game with them doing the skimming.

Still trying to get to Hobby Lobby.  Perhaps I can pull that off this morning.  Contractor supposed to be back this morning.  That's a grind.

Stay safe all out there.  Work smart.

Happy Saturday for the working men.  The rest of us, just another day (something I've learned in the last couple months).  Long predicted rain has arrived.  Will be short duration, then humid, then another rain/storm this evening.

Quiet weekend anticipated.

Everyone stay smart and safe.

Hey all!  Happy Friday

Nice this morning in SE PA.  Fan pulling in outside air had bedroom at 70 this morning.  Notice some steam coming off the pool.

Now that the renovations are nearly completed, was able to brush the pool cover to capture sawdust and such before pulling off the cover.  Lot of crap floating that needs to be skimmed.  I'll have a morning chore now until early September.

Had a gathering of four modelers from our group yesterday.  No trains per se.  Just sitting on the deck at proper distances for a few hours. Our group lost another member earlier this week.  We've lost four in two years. Goes with the territory unfortunately- most of the group is +75.

May take a run to Hobby Lobby today.  Need some paints.

Stay smart, be safe.

Morning, all.  Still hot, but western breezes are kicking out humidity.

Took advantage of retirement and after rising, went back to sleep for almost an hour.

Wife and I may trek up towards Reading (Exeter) to have breakfast at a diner with parking lot picnic tables.

Been totally lakcing motivation to attack the layout.  Even the forums and MRVP vid's can't get me going.  Suggestions?
